Before we get into all of that, here’s a trailer. The expansion was announced over on the game’s official blog, where Blizzard detailed some of what players will be getting their hands on when the pack launches. That’s right, Hearthstone‘s next expansion is called Knights of the Frozen Throne, and it’s packing a lot of icy goodness including a brand new, super exciting card type, a bunch of other powerful new cards, the new “Lifesteal” keyword, a flashy new board to play on, and free new single-player missions.
Dinosaurs are old news now, though, and the new hip things are the Lich King and his rotting chums. I mean, I don’t play the game anymore, but I REALLY like dinosaurs.
Hearthstone‘s previous, dino-centric Journey to Un’Goro DLC pack was undoubtedly my favourite one yet.
